Reprinting safely

Confirm the original is destroyed before you reprint.

Reprinting creates a second physical cheque carrying the same details. If the first one still exists and is signable, you now have two live cheques for one obligation.

ChequeKo requires you to confirm the original was destroyed, voided, or unusable, and to record a reason. The reprint date, the user, the reason, and a reference to the original print are all stored.

ChequeKo does not print the word REPRINT on the cheque — that is your bank's and your organisation's call, not ours.
