Getting started

Writing your first cheque

The four fields you fill in, and the one ChequeKo fills for you.

Four fields make a cheque: date, payee, amount in figures, amount in words. You type the first three. The words are written for you.

Everything else is optional and for your records only. Voucher, category, project and memo are never required.

Print onto ordinary paper first and hold it against your leaf. Feed a real cheque only once the test lands.

If a cheque prints wrongly, mark it void in your register and write the next one. A voided record keeps the numbering honest.
